Great heat product!
As a member of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was sent the Pro Artist Curl Protector Heat & Style Protecting Curl Mousse. This mousse's touch and feel reminded me of whipped cream: light, airy, and pliable. I would highly recommend applying it to damp hair, as per the instructions. I tried it on dry hair on the first go, and didn't like the feeling of residue in my hair. Once I applied it to wet hair, and then dried and styled, the residue feeling was non-existent. My style held throughout the day, even in our high humidity, and I thought this would be a great addition to my hair routine. The packaging is simple, good for taking on a trip, and great to use daily.
Smooth Feel
I received this product as part of the Stellar Product testing panel. I have used this on myself as well as my 3 year old son who has that beachy curly hair look. Although we like it, it takes a couple tries to get used to. You do not need a lot of it unlike other products. It has a silky smooth texture, which is great, but too much and it just lays on the hair. I think it does keep the hair nice and protected while still giving a curl. I don't know that it makes it any curlier. I did feel that it needed a little spray after the fact to keep the scrunched look. I would recommend this product, but more for a heat protectant over a curling product.
Gets the job done!
My hair is naturally curly and rarely gets frizzy (only if it is super humid outside). I liked this product about the same as my current styling mousse. It didn't make my hair feel heavy or sticky, which is an issue that I've experienced with other products. The bottle is stylish and looks professional, which makes me feel as if I really am at the salon! As for the scent, it was just neutral- it didn't stand out one way or another. I would use this product again but wouldn't rush to buy it and wouldn't replace my current mousse with it. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this hair care item.
Excellent mousse
A small amount of the mousse goes a long way and has a pleasant light scent. My husband really likes the smell of it too. When using the mousse, it feels very lightweight and keeps the hair soft. It seems to help with frizz from humidity as well. In my experience, it provided the same results whether it was used in wet or dry hair. I've found that I prefer this mousse over my current favorite style and heat protection product and has become my new go-to. I received this product as part of the Stellar product testing panel but would absolutely recommend anyone to try it and would purchase it again.
Leaves my curls soft not crunchy
I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel! I have somewhat naturally curly hair but also gets kinda frizzy. I have to use some sort of mousse or gel to get really nice curls. This was my first time using this product and I absolutely loved it! The texture is perfect and not heavy. It actually smells great! I like that it protects from heat but also helps have better curls. I add this to my hair after a shower and dry as usual. Paired along with my hot tools Curling iron, I feel like my curls can conquer the day. This mousse is soft and doesn't make my hair feel crunchy. A little goes a long ways!
