Great foundation!
I like this foundation so much! It stayed on through 8.5 hours of work and a 3 hour band practice, and I only needed a touch of powder and a setting spray refresh during the day. It remains matte to the touch and is transfer proof. The only thing I want to note is that the shades are actually way darker in real life. I was excited that they had such a wide range of shades with different undertones as someone with very fair skin who struggles to find a good shade match, but when I actually looked at them everything except the lightest shade was too dark for me. And I'm definitely not even as pale as the models for 1C and 5C. I hope they get the shades more accurate in the future.
It's Ok
I'll start by saying I don't wear foundation often and picked this shade based on what shade I wore in another brand. It's a little too warm/orange for me, but that's fixable with a color corrector. My real problem is I have to use three different cleansers to get this stuff off my face at the end of the day. Even the Benefit oil-based cleanser they were offering as a free gift with purchase does not remove this product on its own; I had to use a second oil-based cleanser plus my regular facewash; and my towels are still covered in makeup. I guess in a way that could be a seen as a positive, since it stays put all day long. If you are 40+ like me, make sure you moisturize and use a good primer/setting spray to stop it from settling into fine lines. I don't feel like going through the hassle off returning so I will keep this and use it for special occasions only; and stick to tinted moisturizer for everyday wear. Overall, I do like the way it looks on me despite all my complaints.
Super oily skin girl
I am a super oily skin girl and i tried this because a influencer on tiktok had me convenced it would be amazing. Needless to say it doesnt stay all day and my face is super oily so i figured it would help but i guess with this being a "blurring and smoothing" line i should have expected that i just really wanted to love this product and im sad!
