For starters, I'm impressed. I have NO regrets. I will admit: 1) I was hesitant to buy the dryer because of all the negative comments. 2) I didn't believe it took 15-20 mins to style your hair. 3) Some said it was loud. What I found out: 1) It's not loud; sounds like a Dyson and my Conair blow dryer is loud. 2) It took me 20 mins to straighten my hair and another 5-10 mins to curl it (learning curve). 3) I definitely recommed this dryer - at least give it a try. NOTE: I have Shirley Temple curls, I fried my hair (highlights) and recently had a color gloss to cover the damage, and even then my hair came out silky. I have no complaints. TIPS: make sure your hair is about 75-80% dry, use your favorite heat protectant, and dry your hair in small sections.

This dryer is powerful. Definitely dries my hair much quicker. I love the brush attachments. The curling attachments seem to not grab my hair realy easily? The curling attachments appear to be the older model in this one

So cute and only takes a few minutes to do my hair!! I thought it was a flop at first but I looked at some tutorials on the internet and most of my problems was user error lol. Takes like 10 minutes to curl my entire head of 40 inch hair!!

I was so excited for this system after watching a favorite Youtuber dry and curl her hair with the attachments, looking like she achieved a bouncy, blown-out look in minutes. This product is gorgeous, but I really don't think this large, heavy device is right for me at all -- I'm petite (5'2"), with small hands, and I have thick, long, heavy, straight Asian hair. My biggest reason for getting this system was seeing how the curlers in the youtube video created gorgeous, fluffy curls in what seemed like seconds, so it looked like you could do your whole head in minutes. After drying my hair so it was about 85-90% dry, I eagerly started using the air curler attachments (watching the Shark video & reading instructions), only to be shattered and utterly disappointed at how the curler refused to attach to my heavy, straight, long hair. It would take forever and then only attach to about 3-5 strands of hair. (I'd followed instructions, using the left and right curlers on proper sides and using only 1-inch strands, which to be honest is about 1/3 I would normally curl at a time with my T3 curling products.) I kept trying, it was frustrating, and it just didn't work on my hair. Furthermore, the dryer body is heavy and really large, which becomes heavier and more enormous with the attachments. The placement of the power and cool buttons are oddly located so I had to use my free hand to turn it on/off or hit the cool shot. It was awkward for me to handle and use, taking much longer to dry my hair and use the brush and curler attachments. I prefer to minimally blow hot/warm air onto my hair, but it took me extra seconds to find the cool shot button or the power off button, so my hair was exposed to extra heat that I avoid using my Dyson regular dryer (which is much lighter and smaller, and has the power button right where I can reach it with the index finger of the hand that is holding the dryer). Overall, for me it is much faster to simply quick-dry at lowest heat & power settings with my Dyson (1-2 minutes max), use the smoother to shine my hair (3 minutes), then use my T3 curler at lowest setting to put in some waves and curls in my hair (5-10 minutes). If I pin the curls until they cool, I don't even need hair spray, which is crazy considering how straight and stubborn my hair is. I can't recommend the Shark Flexstyle system if you have long, thick, straight hair or if you're petite or if you already have a complete set of round brushes and tools such as Dyson hair dryer and T3 curling irons.

Unless you want to dry your hair in record time and be left with smooth frizz free hair. Usually, it takes me a solid 45-60 mins to dry my hair as I have super thick hair. I dried it in literally 18 mins (after having it towel wrapped for about 15 mins). My hair feels amazing. I got it 20% off with the Shark sale and also redeemed $80 in points I've been saving. I'm so happy I let those points build up so I could redeem them on this. The color combo is really pretty and the power behind this thing is absolutely amazing! I love the bag it came with for easy travel. I cant wait to test out the curling aspect!
