No mint/menthol in new formula
I miss the cooling tingle. I used scalp sync exclusively for years and I'm now searching for something comparable which has been difficult. I love the smell of biolage products and the amazing lather I got from The original version. I do like the scalp tonic treatment and I do think the new line is effective in cleaning my hair/scalp but the lack of mint/menthol that made my scalp feel extra clean, soothed and refreshed has me searching for something else. If they added that into the new formula, I'd be back to using this exclusively. I love love love the smell of biolage products but that sensory experience I got from the original was like nothing else. I would recommend this to someone that doesnt care about the cooling effect but its a dealbreaker for me.
Doesn't clean hair well
I tried this to combat my dry, flakey scalp. It unfortunately just didn't clean my scalp well, even when I double shampooed with it. Even tho I don't have an oily scap, the oily scalp version followed by Head and Shoulders dry scalp shampoo works loads better.
