The past several months, my acne had gotten out of control, especially around my eyebrows/forehead and chin area. I had several zits at one time and my skin was an awful texture. I had been using the Zero Oil face wash for a while, and I liked the feeling of my skin right after using it. But within a few hours my skin was back to feeling bumpy, oily, and gross. I had been reading the reviews on several products for a while, and a couple weeks ago I decided to head to my local Origins to purchase a few products to hopefully help improve my skin. Because the reviews for this product were so great, I decided to get a sample of the mask to try it out before purchasing it. I tried it that same night (following the 10 minute instructions) and I woke up with less redness, no zits (when I put it on I had several forming under the skin), and no oil! I was absolutely amazed. I also tried using it as a spot treatment overnight like some other reviews suggested, and I couldn't believe how much it helped overnight. I went out yesterday and purchased the whole product and now I will religiously use this 5 out of 7 nights of the week. My skin is especially oily so I have not noticed that this mask dries out my skin at all, even if I use it often. I personally enjoy the smell as well as the tingly feeling it gives my skin when it is on. Also, a small amount of product goes a long way on the skin, which is great for those like myself that cannot be buying new products every few weeks. I am so pleased with this product and I would recommend it to anyone of any age dealing with difficult acne.
I've had this mask for 8 months now, and I've found that it does a good job of stopping acne that is related to greasy foods and other "self-inflicted" causes. However, I primarily purchased this to help out with some adult hormonal acne I've been experiencing for the last two years. This, unfortunately, has not made a dent in my hormonal acne. I would not purchase again.

I used this mask to prevent breakouts. I would apply twice weekly to keep from breaking out and it worked. It helped me get off of a strong prescription medicine that was ordered from a dermatologist. I have finally gotten my skin to a nice balance that I don't need it as often.

This product is fantastic for clearing skin congestion. I have been ordering this for several years, so I was shocked to open my latest order for this and find that it looks like the wrong size. Nope, once a 3.4 oz product, it is now 2.5oz and is more expensive; not cool, especially since I did not even receive any samples…..

Brings out all the gunk and clears your skin. A must have!! Been using it for more than 5 years

Let's just saw this was nostalgia for me. Reminded me of the Noxema my Mom would use when I was younger and would slather on in the shower.
Cooling burning sensation instantly as you put it on. Not necessarily a bad thing but too much for my skin. Although I have oily combo skin, I have few pimples here and there but black heads on my nose and chin…. Did nothing for my blackheads and no improvement to my skin overall. This might be suited better for someone with active pimples and breaking out. I'll stick to Origins charcoal mask and overnight mask.

I have Hormonal acne and my skin gets crazy once a month when it's that time of the month. This helps me so much. I found that it helps more than the charcoal one with breakouts that are already present . I even use it as a spot treatment sometimes overnight .

This mask has a nice cooling effect. It reduces redness and inflammation from acne, and any breakouts look noticeably improved after removing the mask. I use it 1-2x a week and my acne-prone skin looks so much better. I've also used it as an overnight spot treatment and by morning my blemish was gone.

I don't understand how or why this mask broke me out so badly considering most of these ingredients are those I'm used to and my face has a pretty great response to. As soon as I put this mask on, something felt strange. There was a warm tingling feeling that I thought must have been the mask busting gunk in my pores. Since I wasn't very convinced on the feeling, I only left it on for five minutes since the feeling was increasingly uncomfortable.
I woke up to my face covered in acne with two huge blind pimples caught in my chin. They're still there and they actually a painful system of multiple zits in my chin, leading to one giant pimple. Popping them ends the pain... if you can pop them. That's not happening. So I'll be using multiple patches to try to mop up the oil and bring them to a head while using charcoal and honey in an attempt to heal.
This is the only product I'll say to not buy. I don't know what's wrong with this. Honestly, these ingredients should work together. In different products, these ingredients have worked for me. I'm not sure if it's the combination and concentration or something else, but this doesn't work and if you are just oily enough/have some congestion in your skin from a dry spell with a little oily-ness, you may have a disaster on your hands. This will not rescue your skin at all. This was so disappointing because I love the other acne-aimed products from Origin and they work so well and smell so great.

I tried this mask out because I have horrible acne and scarring and was hoping it would clear up existing spots and stop new ones from forming. Nope. I woke up with clusters of spots all over my face. Cheeks chin forehead. Everywhere. Way worse than when I even started ... Very disappointing

I used solely origins for over 14 years... and when I say solely I mean skincare and market. unfortunately when they started putting so much unnatural ingredients I switched. However, this is still one of my absolute holy grails. It smells like noxema going on and when you take it off your skin is seriously SO soft. Also for me it takes away ALL my redness... it's a must have!

I put the product on right after I washed my face. I loved that it didnt dry me out and that I actually noticed a difference in my skin after use.

I had a really bad reaction to an eyebrow wax and tint on Saturday. The area around and between my brows were super inflamed and itchy, with huge whiteheads. I decided to try this mask, and when I woke up this am, I literally had NO blemishes or irritation. I absolutely recommend trying this product out.

I used to use this about 3 years ago and for some reason forgot about it until recently. Wearing a mask all of the time has made me break out on my cheeks, where I never used to, and my chin. I use this mask twice within a few days and it does really help with my breakouts! I love how my skin feels afterwards and I enjoy the fresh smell. Most of all I love how short it has to stay on the skin and that it doesn't "harden" andc rumble like most masks I've tried.

This mask works so well, the rose re texturizing mask is actually the exact same just with exfoliating beads, I love that one too but I don't like to exfoliate too often. Both masks have the same uses and ingredients. I use when I'm about to break out or when I wake up with a pepperoni face. Clears it so well. I used it on my boyfriend and he has acne, it made his skin look amazing and so clear!! I bought him the rose one for Christmas. I have normal skin that is very sensitive with oily T-zone and i break out from stress and my period, and touching my face too often. I do not have chronic acne.

I just received my order on Wednesday 2/17, I used the mask all over my face that evening and woke up the next morning and noticed the three problem areas (Acne) were already less angry looking. I used it that morning but only on those three specific spots and this morning 2/19 the redness is completely gone and the spots are healing. I also ordered the Zero Oil Cleanser because I've always had great results with it. I noticed people mentioning the package decreased in volume but I think if you use it as a spot treatment it will last a good amount of time.

I used this mask previously and it really worked to control my acne breakouts. Unfortunately, when I tried it again most recently, it did not perform as before. After also trying some other of Origins products for acne control (this, charcoal clear improvement mask, clear improvement moisturizer), I discovered that the active ingredient salicylic acid is irritating to my skin. I had terrible acne scarring and made my breakouts even worse. I did not experience these side effects when using this product previously. I am really disappointed that Origins does not offer any acne products that do not contain this ingredient. I wanted to try the Zero oil system, but will definitely not since it is advertised as having a stronger concentration of salicylic acid. Please offer some acne products for us women who also have sensitive skin! Origins has been my go to for cosmetics for years. I love that they use plant based natural ingredients in their products and that I can trust there not to be any harmful synthetics, dyes, or other additives in their products. I am still in need of an acne control solution. I really hope Origins will offer some acne control products with an alternative active ingredient in the future.

The Out of Trouble mask works wonders on my skin. I have PCOS and I get some pretty bad break outs from it but this is one of the only masks I can use that actually clear up the big, itchy under the skin type of acne that I get without drying out and irritating my skin more. I find the mask to be very soothing and calming on my skin. I use it as a mask but also as spot treatment to help decrease how bad my acne can look. This mask works fast!

I used to work at origins and really loved using this mask for my after menstrual cycle pimples. I do still love it but it doesn't work the same as it used to. I still use it once in a while but it's not my go to as it used to be. I wouldn't suggest using it if you have very very dry skin especially in the winter.

I had this mask and the charcoal mask, both of which I love though I tend to like this one a little more (it's easier to wash off). I haven't bought masks from Origins in a long time because my last masks lasted a while. I waited for Origins Black Friday sale and bought the Out of Trouble mask because I was running low. To say I was shocked when my package arrived is an understatement. I had read about Origins decreasing the size of their packaging but I completely forgot when I placed my order. Origins decreased the size of their packaging by one whole ounce but charges the same price. How is this even logical? This will be the last time I buy from Origins. Their products are great but their business sense is severely lacking to think it's okay to do this to loyal customers. Sorry Origins, but you just lost a customer due to your repackaging choice.

I love this mask. It works great and is as described. But Origins, you guys are going to start losing customers soon. This mask for example is the same (high) price but now only 2.5oz...it used to be 3.5oz for this price. I didn't notice until it arrived. Ridiculous.
Please stop raising prices and cutting product size!

I have dealt with cystic acne all through high school and it would spark in my adult life as well. I am always extremely careful with buying any new product due to almost EVERYTHING breaking me out my whole life. I borrowed this mask from my sister just one night and immediately after taking it off I saw results. I was having an extreme cystic break out on my forehead for weeks and this is the only product that cleared it. I use it as a spot treatment every night and a mask about once a week. You will see a significant difference over night if using this as a spot treatment. I have used all the popular spot treatments and this is the only thing that brought my pimple downs that quickly. If you see an oncoming pimple this will stop it right in its tracks.

overwhelming menthol smell and burning of menthol combined with greasy white film reminiscent of diaper rash cream, would not recommend

THIS WORKS SOOOO WELLLLL!!!! it literally works within the first time using. After leaving it on for 10-20 minutes and washing it off you can visibly see the pimples decrease in size/redness/painfulness. It has truly become a staple in my skin care routine. I use this everyday and have the clearest skin since I was a pre-pubescent kid (lol)

I used this product years ago for breakouts and dabbed a few spots on the left side of my face. I actually slept with it on my skin thinking it would help clear it up over night. What actually happened was that it bleached my face. The whole left side of my face is white. I have olive tone skin so I look tanner than most people, but now all you see on the left is white splotches near my ear down to my chin. I saw a dermatologist asking if this was possible and he couldn't figure it out. No idea how or why this happened, but it definitely was this product. Nothing else would bleach my skin. Now I'm stuck with this permanently.

I can always count on this mask to eliminate a pimple when it shows up. Whether I wear it for 10 minutes or overnight, it always does it's job (the longer you have it on, the better it works). The smell isn't the best but the magic outweighs the smell.
