It feels very soft and silky to the skin. I never have to reapply and my skin looks amazing! On days where I don't want to wear makeup. I just put this Mineral Veil on and I instantly look like I have a filter on my face, very natural yet no pores or acne scars show. I absolutely love this product....
Switched from BM Loose Mineral Veil to Pressed Powder
I'm 45 yrs old, with skin on the dry side, and have used BM Mineral Veil for more than a decade. This pressed powder has pros and cons. Pros Include: coverage smooths fine lines, it goes great over heavy or light foundation (I use MAC), covers nicely without a foundation, and looks great over eye cream (I use Dermalogica) and/or concealer (I use Bobby Brown). Cons: Over time, the powder puff applicator absorbs any cream or sunscreen you have on your face (even after I let it absorb), making the powder puff pretty useless after a month even after cleaning it gently. I ended up using Real Techniques sponge to apply.
Good-but hardened over time
Overall this was a very good powder, however, over time it began to significantly harden, making a lot of the powder unusable. It did take a while for this to happen, so if you are a daily user it will probably be fine.
like the brand - costumers at Ulta seem disrespectful though
when i opened the package at home the powder inside was budged with other make up and used. The store at Ulta also felt really messy and rough. when you buy make-up I think its important that the store is well maintained.
