Use in conjunction with a hairdryer. For straightening, rotate the brush pulling through the hair from root to end, applying heat from a hairdryer. For curling, roll the brush onto the hair and apply heat from the hairdryer, then unroll the brush out of the hair.

I was excited to try this brush from Olivia garden but sadly I was kind of disappointed. I tried out the 1-in round brush All my hair when I was blow drying it and I noticed that it ripped my hair and I had a lot of breakage. Maybe it might work out for someone who has thicker and fuller hair but my hair is fine and thin. This brush might work for others but sadly it did not work for me.

I don't consider myself the most experienced hairdresser but I have a pretty good amount of skills. The thing I have never had luck with on myself is round brushing with a blow dryer. That being said this little guy got the job done for me! In the past I've only used bigger rounder brushes because I have so much new growth and baby hairs (postpartum hair loss struggle is real for me) but this little one really let me get close to my scalp and get in there to smooth my hair out. I still trying to get a more voluminous look with it but for now the smoothing and tighter rounded brush has been a surprising win! I love how comfortable it is to use and the handle is silicone so it doesn't get hot to hold when blow drying & I also love it for teasing!! It's been a unique multi fiction brush I had no idea I needed till now.

I have short, wavy hair. This brush really isn't meant for someone like me. It caused my hair to get static and have fly aways, even with product in it. This would be a great brush for someone with longer hair.
