Initially Hated but Grew to Really Like!

I received the Chloe Rose Naturelle Intense Perfume in a sample complimentary from Influenster to try for my honest opinion. This one kind of surprised me... It took me a ridiculously long time to review this perfume because initially I hated it. If I had only sprayed it on a scent card in a store... I would have skipped passed it and never tried it again. The initial spray in the air, and even on me, had these very forward floral and powdery notes that I am just not a fan of. I usually skip anything like this because it just reminds me too much of old lady perfume. And though I am getting close to hitting 40, I definitely prefer my spring and summer scents to remind me of a fruit orchard as the fruit is just beginning to ripen or the beach, not my grandmother's vanity. The first time I tried it, I immediately washed it off because of this. But, I decided to try it a few more times to make sure I was giving it a completely fair review, and found that it actually evolved beautifully with my own chemistry, as it quickly changed to being warm, creamy, woody, and fruity, while pushing the floral and powdery notes to the background. And it lasted quite a while on me, getting warmer and more woody, but still having just a tad of thay freshness in the background, the longer I wore it. It's still not an absolutely favorite of mine just based on personal preference, but I will definitely be wearing it again as I think it's the perfect perfume to wear throughout the spring for a weekend day date or brunch with some friends. I also think that it is really awesome that it is made with 100% natural ingredients, is Vegan, and that its full sized options come in eco-friendly refillable bottles with refills available for purchase.
