Step 1: Use pencil side to fill in any sparse areas in brows.

I really like this product. The pencil is firm enough that you can change how much or little you want to apply, making it super user friendly. I get the Natural Brown shade, which has a lovely finish. Also love the small brush; it's the perfect size to set the brow's shape. The combination pencil and gel is also terrific, especially for travel. My only request is that there be more gel in the wand. I often finish the gel side before the pencil, so I need to use another gel to set my brows as I use up the pencil side. Overall, great product and have used for several years.

I use the pencil side first with a spoolie brush and use the gel side to bring it all together. You don't need a lot of the gel side since a little goes a long way, but it works great!
