LOVE the Scent. ZERO Lasting Power.

I absolutely LOVE this fragrance! I was afraid it would be too "sticky-sweet" like an overpowering cheap body spray for teenage girls. It is not. It's a lovely floral scent with a noticeably rose base, but not your grandma's "old lady rose perfume" rose. If that makes sense :) It's lighter & cleaner than that while still being floral. My only complaints: as others have noted here— this fragrance has ZERO lasting power. It literally does not last more than a few minutes. It doesn't mattee how much you use or if you layer it over itself or another scent. It's almost criminal to make such a lovely scent that just won't stick around. Also, the small bottle size seems very small for the price. The pics here are a little deceiving. Though I suppose I wouldn't mind the small size as much if this scent had any lasting power. That would be the only reason I probably won't buy this again for me or for a gift. Hopefully Clinique will be able to improve the staying power of this line without changing the fragrance itself. I'd definitely buy it again if that happens.

I love this light, floral scent. It's not super long lasting or strong, but it's refreshing and pleasant. I love wearing it year round.
More Rose to My Nose
I must say I was swayed to purchase this as my first of the "My Happy" line. However, I find this fragrance waaaay too flowery, and specifically too overwhelmingly rose. I purchased during store shutdown and so was unable to return without paying return shipping, so I kept it. I use it occasionally, but it still hasn't grown on me. The only time I like it is after it has faded a bit. The base notes are rather nice, but not lasting .

I've always enjoyed the smell of peonies over a lot of other flowers, especially something like rose for example. So this one does seem to align okay with my general floral preferences. However, I don't generally go for floral perfumes at all. But I could see myself keeping this one around for the occasional time when I do want something floral since I don't think I have any others.

The first layer of scent is what makes this somewhat over powering. I have two of these scents and they both seem to give the initial original HAppy scent then settle into the second layer of scent which I find much more appealing
