Takes a little time to grow on you Initially, when I received my sample of Azzaro The Most Wanted, I was a little skeptical that this was for me. The bottle has a gun theme to it being shaped like a revolver cylinder. I just could not imagine it would line up with the Citrus scents that I usually go for like Polo Blue, Tom Ford, etc. When I opened up the package, I sprayed a little on my arm and my wife's arm. Before the fragrance dried, I took a whiff and was disappointed. I felt like it was worse than that bottle of Dior Sauvage that I got myself a while back. After giving it a little more time, I checked again and it settled into something more subtle, but I could not quite point out the leading notes. My wife is usually quick to tell me when something stinks but when she checked it out, she did not offer an opinion which is actually promising believe it or not.
For the next couple of days, I wore it over the weekend and to work hoping it would grab someone's attention but it did not. I did notice however that when I was going to my fragrance lineup, I found myself reaching for The Most Wanted rather than forcing myself to wear it. I have always had trouble smelling things due to my allergies, but I thought the top note was grapefruit at one point which made me love it even more. I decided to research it and found out that it was cardamom. Now there is no mistake about it when I go to apply the Azzaro. I do think that if I applied more, people would notice it more, but at work that is frowned upon. I normally do three sprays, two under the arm and one on the neck. I am pretty sure that is not the proper application. Nonetheless, I will admit that on days 1-3 wearing this fragrance, I thought it was average and not something that would stand out to me if I was shopping for a new scent. Now that I had a chance to spend some time with it, I know this is a brand I will be on the lookout for to check out new products and I cannot imagine not having it in my lineup going forward.
Interesting - Just OK I received the opportunity to try a full-sized sample of Azzaro The Most Wanted Parfum. I will be honest - I've never heard of this brand and was totally unfamiliar with it. Upon opening the box, I was intrigued. The box is black, gunmetal, and gold and has lots of gun references (barrel, chamber, bullet, etc.) and probably relates to the "Most Wanted" theme? There is a French phrase on the box that translates to "Life is a Celebration! Step into the light and enjoy the moment. It's your time to shine." Kind of sleek but kind of cringey. Reminds me of cheap perfume from drug stores or generic brands trying too hard with establishing a motto/saying that doesn't really stand out. But good effort. The bottle itself is shaped to look like the same references to the barrel/chamber. Top is black metal. Bottom half is glass with a very dark brown parfum. Again, at times sleek but cringey at the same time. Nice weight to it. If dropped, wouldn't worry about anything breaking. The scent itself is advertised as an intense spicy cologne for men. An addictive mix of vibrant red ginger, incandescent woods accord, and sensual bourbon vanilla. Very different things. But I will admit, that's a pretty accurate description. Quite hard to pinpoint one scent; sweet, spicy, and musky all at the same time. On the skin, it comes off a little lighter and floraly, but it seems to deepen after some time. Overall, it's not bad. Not good either. Just really OK. Just average. Again, it smells like one of the colognes you would pick up at a drug store as a young kid buying their dad a cologne for Father's Day. I could wear it, but it's not a scent that would turn heads or make people ask what you're wearing (in my opinion). Definitely noticeable though. Maybe a good cologne for when you want to use as a quick coverup - I feel like this scent would be good at masking other smells up (i.e., smoke). It's a manly smell. It's strong. Good for night. Stays pretty consistent throughout the day with little fade. At the end of the night, with moderate activities, I could still smell it on me pretty well. Washed off easily in the shower. Lingered on clothes I wore though. So I'd say if you like that aspect of it; would be a good option. I however just wasn't too into this one. Maybe I'll continue wearing it to see if it'll change. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to find this scent/brand and buy it, but I can see others liking it and wearing it. Just some small tweaks here and there and I believe they could elevate the scent and marketing. I feel like too much effort is being put into making it look nice and appeal to a certain crowd; if that same effort was put into elevating the scent itself - could produce a strong product. Not a bad experience for the first time with Azzaro. Wish it would have been better and stood out from the others.

This smelled clean on me. The smell isn't overbearing or distracting. I wear it when it's date night with my wife. She loves it.
My husband buys this cologne over and over again. 5

Listen to me man, this stuff slaps! I usually don't wear dept store fragrances but this was a father's day gift. Not once have I wore and not gotten a compliment on how I smell. Can't say enough about Azzaro.
