I have only used this cleanser twice so far - so I can't speak on the long term effects of it on my skin - but my first impression of it is that it's a super gentle and effective cleanser that hasn't irritated my skin (on both my face and body) at all. And I also I haven't used it to take off makeup but I think it would do a good job at it. This cleanser leaves my skin feeling really soft and hydrated and not tight and dry like so many other cleansers have in the past. I appreciate that it is fragrance free so much my skin is so sensitive to fragrances. Overall this cleanser is wonderful and such a great value for the price.

The texture of this cleanser is heavenly! I have used unscented castile soap for years and years, but during this particularly dry Colorado winter my skin has been craving something less stripping. Okay but why is this cleanser low-key the most unproblematic thing in my bathroom? The texture is this soft milky gel that foams just enough to make you feel clean without attacking your skin. No tightness. No squeaky œdid I just strip my barrier? moment. Just calm, hydrated, happy skin. I use it on my face AND body because we love a multitasking queen. It removes the day without removing my will to live (dramatic, but you get it). Also no strong scent, no weird film, just smooth, comfy skin after every wash. If your skin is sensitive or dry and tired of being betrayed by cleansers¦ this is the safe one.
