- Q
Will this help enlarge pores? Or do you have a product that is better for enlarged pores ?
- Asked by Debbie
- Official Answer By Mad HippiePores can start to appear larger as skin loses firmness and collagen productions slows, but ingredients like vitamin C, vitamin A, and peptides can help. Regular exfoliation is also key, which is where our MicroDermabrasion Facial comes in to gently buff away dead skin and improve texture. For added support, we recommend our AHA Exfoliating Peel a few nights a week (separate from the Microderm), as well as our Corrective Peptide Serum in the morning to help firm and smooth! Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Would this be ok for sensitive skin?
- Asked by Charlene
- Official Answer By Mad HippieOur Microdermabrasion Facial offers gentle yet effective exfoliation, combining micro-exfoliants with alpha hydroxy acids to reveal smoother, more radiant skin. However, if you have extra sensitive or redness-prone skin, we recommend performing a patch test first to ensure your skin responds well before applying it to your entire face. Was this answer helpful to you

- Q
would this help reduce stuborn sebum on the nose? also is the product wheat and soy free?
- Asked by lillith
- Official Answer By Mad HippieThanks for reaching out! The Microdermabrasion Facial utilizes a blend of six different AHAs, plus probiotics, volcanic ash, and bamboo extract which provides two types of exfoliation. The physical exfoliants gently buff away dead skin cells while the AHA blend including glycolic acid provides a deeper level of exfoliation. We recommend massaging into clean, damp skin in a circular, buffing motion, leaving on for three minutes, and then rinsing with lukewarm water. It can be followed with a moisturizer. This is an advanced treatment that we recommend for use once or twice a week max. Please note that this product is not a cleanser. Since we do not operate a gluten-free or soy-free facility, trace amounts may be present. We recommend patch testing first if you have any ingredient sensitivities. Please let us know if we can assist further. :)Was this answer helpful to you

- Asked by Gisselle

Hi there! Can I do a microdermabrasion facial, use the hydrating nutrient mist afterwards, follow with the vitamin a serum and triple c night cream altogether for PM routine?
- Asked by Gisselle
- Official Answer By Mad HippieThanks for reaching out! We recommend skipping other exfoliants when using the Microderm to prevent over-exfoliating or irritating your skin. Since the Vitamin A Serum is also an exfoliant, it's best not to use in the same routine as the Microderm. Please let us know if we can assist further. :)Was this answer helpful to you

Super effective at a great price
You know you picked a good exfoliant when you look forward to the day of the week that you get to use it. So it is with this jar of magic. I was a user of the Goop microdermabrasion product for years but always questioned its hefty price tag. I tried this as an alternative and it is every bit as goo...

UNDERWHELMED
I used the Mad Hippie Microdermabrasion Facial Scrub this morning. I am underwhelmed. The formulation has a low viscosity and can pour out of the jar. While it has a pleasing aromatherapeutic citrus aroma that would most definitely contribute to making one want to be compliant with their skincare...

Salon facial at home!
Gentle yet abrasive enough to feel like the scrub is, well, scrubbing. The probiotics and fruit acid complex spread evenly over your face. Add as much or little water to a dime sized or more and scrub. I'd suggest applying the scrub prior to showering. Showering will help make sure you get all the little scrub molecules rinsed away. Follow up with your favorite moisturizer and SPF. The smell is pleasant.
Too much.
Too many ingredients. Have to wait 3 long minutes for it to work. No results. My face was not brighter, was not smoother. It was like I had nothing on it at all. Go for more simple formulas that do not require the extra time. Go for simple formulas and scrub for a very small amount of time. Do not use o the neck. It gets messy.
WE LOVE HER
I impulse bought this little gem after a difficult Dr's appointment and she did not disappoint. Smells good, exfoliates just the right amount without being too rough, natural, and feels luxurious. And arguably the best part? COMES WITH AN ADORABLE TINY WOODEN SPOON TO MIX IT WITH.
Too gentle and stinks
This stuff stinks and it barely scrubs
works really well
I have excema and am allergic to lots of stuff. This didnt bother my skin. Just use gently as a scrub and leave one 3 minutes. Usee a thick moisturizer after and you'll wake up with baby skin. Don't rub into skin for too long.
