Gently move the roller across areas of excess oil build up around your face, usually around the nose, chin, and forehead to mattify the skin. This can be used on top of makeup or with no makeup to minimize shine!
To clean the volcanic stone, remove from the packaging, gently wash with a face cleanser & warm water. Leave to dry for a minimum of 8 hours before inserting back into the packaging.

This thing is great!
I've only used blotting papers in the past but wanted to try a volcanic stone roller. I chose the Makeup Revolution version over Revlon's because Makeup Revolution is a better company (100% cruelty-free; not a huge nasty mega-corporation, etc.) It was also nearly half the price so I really didn't know what to expect. Well, I am super impressed! Simply put, it works. It's more convenient and IMO more effective than blotting papers, and definitely less wasteful. I haven't had to clean the ball yet but I'm not worried about it. My forehead is no longer shiny and I'm in my volcanic stone era.
