This stuff is pretty great. For my thick, medium length, wavy hair, it offers good hold without weighing my hair down (which makes it look slicked back, as opposed to pushed back). I don't like when it looks like I've got a bunch of product in my hair, and this stuff holds, but manages to still look pretty natural with a matte finish. It def adds texture and definition. I like it more than the matte pomades, which I've tried a few from Reuzel.
