Beautiful Color Dusty Rose - But, Wish Lasted Longer!
I purchased the Dusty Rose color and I am olive skin. The color is the prettiest! However, the actual product in the container is disappointing. It does not last long..I kept twisting and it ran out fast. Wish they made this color in a liptstick.

The best and cool skin tone friendly!
This is the best lip liner I have ever used, it applies smoothly, doesn't emphasize lip texture or lines, and lasts for hours without feeling dry or sticky. Plus, you can roll it up for more, which is great for on the go, but it does have a little sharpener in the cap if you want a precise point. I have about half of the colors and most of them are neutral toned, which is amazing because most colors pull way too warm on me. I have fair/light slightly cool toned skin, and most of these are very very flattering on me, especially dusty mauve which is my daily color. It's a perfect your lips but better, muted, pinky brown that doesn't turn orange. Dusty rose is slightly warmer and darker than dusty mauve, but not overly warm and great when you want a little more color. Mauve is a true natural looking pinky mauve and it's beautiful. Nude is a neutral light brown, similar to CT iconic nude but a little less warm. Soft pink and blush pink pull a little warmer on me, but still wearable and not orange. I apply all of these to my lip line after blending my foundation over my lips (because it gives you a more neutral canvas and minimizes lip products turning orange), then blend the line with my finger, apply gloss or lipstick over it and I'm set for hours. Truly the best lip liners I have found and I don't use any other brands anymore.
Wow! Best lip liner ever!
I rarely have time to write reviews, THIS deserves it! I got Tarte's Lip Liner shade in Dusty Brown. I first tested all the shades on my hand in store. The little tester swatches wouldn't rub off when I was done! Even after washing my hands several times, they were still there! On my lips it lasted ALL day even after drinking AND eating! I returned and bought 5 more in different shades and told family and friends about how good these are! I have sensitive lips and these felt comfortable—no irritation! If you want a lip liner with longevity, consider getting this one by Tarte! I pair it with a lip gloss and it looks beautiful! I highly recommend!
Super long lasting
This is one of my favorite lip liners next to the new plumping peptide tarte liner which is my top fave! It stays on all day and has a great selection of colors! I use it at a lipstick with either a balm or gloss on top. I love the tarte hydrating balm with it!
Long lasting
This lip pencil is all around one of the best: it's creamy (no skin tugging), has good color payoff, and lasts long. I've compared longevity against a bunch of ofher lip pencils—and it was one of the few that stayed put!
The Best Lip Pencil!
This pencil glides on super creamy, so no tugging your skin and making crazy jumps! My only qualm is it's very easy to break the pencil tip when putting the cap on, but that could be user error! Still 5 out of 5 stars, definitely would buy again!
