Trim your nails like a pro: Clip from each side toward the center. Time to file and shape: Use the rougher side of the Emeryl file to do the actual shaping, then turn it over and smooth the edges; always file in one direction to help prevent splitting. Tidy up those cuticles: Push them back with the contoured end of the cuticle trimmer, then glide the metal-V end (with prongs facing up) along the cuticle edge. Buff: Use the sandy side of the nail buffer to work on stains and ridges; switch to the smooth side to polish nails to a high-gloss shine.
PRO TIP: Remove all polish before shaping your nails to avoid damaging them.

I bought the kit for the file. I love metal files. My nails are on the thin and peely side, and the metal files help me straighten them out when they inevitably break each week.

I love the product but the carrying pouch smells like moth balls. The odor is so strong that if I would pack this in my bag when traveling, my clothes would have the same odor. Its that strong. I bought this mainly for the pink metal file which works good. However I secondly bought this set for the cuticle remover and it doesn't work at all. It's dull and not sharp at all. It literally does nothing! Would not recommend.

loved until I tried cuticle trimmer
I've had this 6 months+ and thought it was so cute. I'd used everything, but the cuticle trimmer. I finally use it the other day and it is garbage. I mean it will do nothing like not even cut it partially like where it is cut wrong and hurts afterward. This is like cutting your steak with a spoon bad. How did this even pass to be in this thing. Revlon can surely do better than this!!!
