My Skin but Better, for real
I received this product in exchange for my honest review. This is my first time trying a complexion product from NYX, and I am really impressed. I own a lot of foundations but usually prefer BB creams, and this really gives me that "my skin but better" look . It does not completely cover blemishes, but it also does not make them stand out. It smooths the skin in a very natural way and almost looks like I am not wearing makeup. The coverage is buildable, but if you are looking for full coverage, this is not it. This foundation is best if you love a natural, skin-like look. When I first used this foundation, I did notice it clung slightly to dry patches, but it was not anything extreme. Once I finished my makeup and used powder and setting spray, it was no longer noticeable. Since the finish leans a bit more matte, pairing it with hydrating skincare makes a big difference. It wears really well over my skincare and with other makeup products, and I have not experienced any pilling. The formula feels lightweight on the skin and is very comfortable to wear throughout the day. I did not notice any strong scent, which I appreciate. I also have not experienced any flashback in photos. Overall, this is a great everyday foundation, and I already know I will love it even more in the spring and summer.
