APPLICATION:
Create a smooth canvas for colour with Prep + Prime Lip.
Apply Lipstick directly to lips.|Pro tip: Define lips with Lip Pencil or layer on Lipglass for a high-shine finish.
Pro tip: Dab Lipstick on cheeks for a monochomatic pop of colour.
Pro tip: Apply to the centre of lips and blend out using a 318S Brush to create a blurred effect.
REMOVAL:
Dispense one to two pumps of Hyper Real™ Fresh Canvas Cleansing Oil into the palm of your hand and gently massage onto lips.
Emulsify with warm water, rinse thoroughly and pat dry.

I was looking to up my lipstick game now that I have the makeup budget to do so, and I know that they used a lot of MAC lipsticks for Scully's wardrobe in the X-Files. As a fan, I decided to give it a shot -- and I'm really, really glad I did! Creme In Your Coffee is the perfect shade for my pale skin and neutral undertones.

This lipstick for me, as a light medium golden undertone, comes on a bit too strong. I kept it however because the formula is lovely. It can also be worn as costume makeup.
Felt nice...
The formula felt nice on my lips, was a little too sheer for me and the color did not suit me. I don't remember this being the fleshpot of the 90's but it's still a pretty color. Returned mine.

I hesitated to write this review because, let's face it, it will fall on deaf ears. I recently purchased the new maximal lipstick in my tried and true shade Modesty. It is not the same color. These fleshy nudes are tricky for me because I'm a fair skin warm neutral with green eyes and golden blonde hair. Corpse lips is to easy to achieve on me. The original Modesty had a little bit of a peachy warmth running through. It was just enough to make this shade wearable for me. The new one eliminates that warmth and on me looks grey. As far as the new formula, it is creamy and buttery feeling but it doesn't have the hold of the original making it easier to travel outside my lip line. So all in all I'm really sad. I don't understand this constant "improving" or discontinuing existing products. Particularly tried and true ones. If Mac decides to discontinue or "improve" the kohl pencil in Teddy I'm afraid you will lose a customer but I'm sure you will be fine.
