This review is for a 0.04 oz / 1.2 ml atomizer. #Fragrance I am sniffing right now | Prada Luna Rossa Carbon EDT | 4/10 The OG Luna Rossa, a citrus aromatic, was launched in 2012 with the Carbon birth in 2017 from the same nose, Daniela (Roche) Andrier. Mrs. Prada has created their juices since 200...3 and, per my research has been credited since 1995, with lo La Perla from the house of La Perla. Carbon, a self-stated modern Fougere, "fern-like" in French, contains "energetic notes of lavender, green bergamot from Italy, radiant woody notes of patchouli and the dry amber of ambroxan." Carbon is tall, lean, with a swimmer's build and dark chestnut hair. He emerges from the water as you sit in your beach chair, walking towards you with intent and want. He grabs your hand and leads you to the nearby beach bungalow for a secret kiss away from others' eyes. This juice delivers a punch of lavender floating in a bowl of citrus water. The scents are being filtered through a wall of sheer lavender as it fades to the back and allows the peppery notes to dance on lavender leaves. After your kiss, Carbon ushers you into an antique Alfa Romeo Giulia 1.6 spider and you drive along the Gulf of Salerno; the Tyrrhenian Sea in the air, and the sun warming your flesh. This juice has an earthiness on my skin, but I contribute that to patchouli more than the stated coal and soil tincture, and that is a letdown. As I told my friend @trillnoel on a live the other night, I adore soil notes in a fragrance, so Carbon's kiss was a disappointment. At this moment I am enjoying the Giulia more than him. I do enjoy this fragrance and always see the best in the juice and as I sit here writing, I need another spray to enjoy the veiled lavender ride it took me on initially. Carbon is fleeting.
