Spray onto dry or damp hair and comb through evenly. Activate naturally with sun exposure or apply low heat with a blow dryer for 3-4 minutes. Repeat until desired results are achieved. Do not use more than once between hair washes.

The level of hydrogen peroxide used in the "For Brunettes" formula is lower than in the "For Blondes" formula to make it a better fit for lightening brunette hair. Both Lighten Up options contain a lightening agent, and should only be used if your hair is conditioned regularly, healthy and hydrated. If your hair is in good condition, the blonde formula contains a blue toner which is best for blonde hair. Used it for a few weeks over the summer, didn't think it was working so I stopped using it. Now that my roots have grown out, it is clear that it worked! See the photos. Subtle but definitely effective on my naturally blonde hair. Gonna start again!
