Summary
Jean Paul Gaultier LE MALE pays tribute to a symbolic figure and long time source of inspiration: the sailor. A reassuring fragrance with a modern trail. The power and freshness of mint and lavender evoke the familiar, comforting scent of shaving soap, transformed by the sensuality of vanilla.

Delicious :)
You can smell mint and vanilla with some musk and citrus and all man! It's a masculine smell that almost borders on neutral, it's softer but sexy and it pulls tons of compliments from both genders. My guy isn't a fan of cologne, every now and then I can get him to wear it, this stuff he wears all ...

Anticipated robust masculinity, received powdery softness...
I've been a fan of Jean Paul Gaultier colognes for a while now, drawn to their lasting scents that have always delivered. However, my experience with Le Male left me wanting more. With a name like Le Male, I expected a fragrance that exuded strength and masculinity. The description hinted at a blend...

Classic scent
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Le male has that recognizable suite, clean, slightly pottery style that makes it easy to pick out. It feels warm and masculine without being too heavy, and there is a smooth freshness that keeps it wearable. I can see why this has stayed popular for so long.

Classic men's fragrance
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Classic men's fragrance, this is a classic fragrance for men and the one that started it all for this iconic line. It's a men's classic smell, I mainly get a creamy lavender with wood and spices. I get average longevity and projection at around 6 hours. It's a versatile fragrance that can be worn both during the day and night year round. I would say the only downside side is that it's a little outdated in today's standard but it's still a good fragrance

Good, but not my type of scent
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Overall good smelling cologne, but I personally not for me. It's sweet and fresh with lavender and vanilla, but I find that it comes off a little too powdery and sweet. It has good performance as it stays on all day without having to reapply it.

Certified classic
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Le Male edt is a certified classic cologne. This fragrance has been popular for over 30 years. It seems to be a timeless fragrance. The freah minty scent mixed with a warm vanilla leaves you wanting more. It is pretty long lasting which is always a plus. I really enjoy a lot of Jean Paul Gaultier fragrances and this is the one that started it for me. I have a very nostalgic love for this fragrance, and truly enjoy smelling it.

Too sweet
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I really wanted to like this one because the opening is fresh and the mint gives it a nice first impression, but once it settles on my skin, the vanilla becomes way too sweet for my taste. It gets heavier as it dries down, and after a while I find the sweetness a little overwhelming. The longevity is actually pretty good, so if you live strong, sweet vanilla fragrances, you will enjoy it. For me, though, it's just too sweet and not something I would personally reach for.
