Not Designed to Actually Hold Long, Medium-Thick Hair
I purchased the large size for my long (waist-length), fine-textured hair. In terms of total hair thickness, I would say I'm on the medium range of the scale, and this hair clip was a 100% fail. I purchased the large size for my long (waist-length), fine-textured hair. In terms of total hair thickness, I would say I'm on the medium range of the scale, and this hair clip was a 100% fail. It's pretty, but it's not designed well. The teeth that are supposed to grip into the hair/twist/bun are very short (not the ones that lay flat against your hair), so it doesn't actually hold a lot of hair. Maybe if I wore my hair half-up, it could work, but it's definitely not worth the price.

Not for thick hair
This clip was advertised as a clip for thick hair. I love the flat clip concept, and I have purchsed one that does hold thick hair. This clip loked very similar, but with more room between the teeth for my massive amount of hair. It actually holds less hair. The teeth are so weak, the hair the clip does clamp around just slips out. There are WAY better clips out there. Do not buy this one.
