A warm, dessert-like rose fragrance with creamy va

I received this perfume for free from Influenster and Givenchy in exchange for my honest review. From the very first spray, this fragrance leans gourmand rather than bright, both in intensity and overall character. While neroli is listed as a top note, it comes across as very subtle, offering only ...a gentle hint of freshness in the background. The opening is dominated by a creamy, vanillic rose smooth, rich, and indulgent, almost as if rose petals were blended into whipped vanilla cream. As the scent develops, it becomes increasingly comforting and delicious. The rose remains at the center, wrapped in a milky sweetness that evokes the feeling of enjoying a vanilla-pistachio dessert in a garden filled with blooming roses. It's undeniably sweet, creamy, and gourmand, clearly reflecting its inspiration from Parisian haute pâtisserie. In the dry-down, the fragrance turns warm and cozy. The creamy blend of rose and vanillic pistachio remains present, staying true to its gourmand heart, while a subtle woody accord gradually adds warmth and depth rather than replacing the sweetness. Creamy pistachio and smooth vanilla melt into the skin, creating a velvety, comforting finish. As time goes on, the nutty facet of the pistachio becomes more noticeable, enhancing the dessert-like character and making the scent feel even more addictive. Overall, the fragrance feels fairly linear, with the main evolution coming from the gentle neroli freshness at the opening and the added warmth in the dry-down. In terms of performance, the longevity is moderate, as I could still smell it on my skin after about 2–3 hours. The sillage is soft to moderate, creating a pleasant, cozy scent bubble rather than a strong trail. I also love the bottle design it's simple, elegant, and refined, giving it a timeless, luxurious feel. While the fragrance does offer some versatility, I personally find it better suited for colder weather or winter, when its creamy gourmand warmth truly shines and feels most comforting. This is a perfume made for lovers of sweet, creamy, gourmand florals. If gourmand or sweet fragrances aren't your preference, this may not be for you.
