Turn collar of applicator in direction of arrows until product is visible on sponge. This may require a number of turns the first time. Apply directly to face. Blend into skin tone.

Burning
I've never had any issue with Maybelline makeup but as soon as I put it on my face it's began to itch and burn. I am unsure of what was different in the formula, but I was really looking forward for a simple 4-in-1 product.

VERY DARK, EXPIRED
This arrived dark and chalky appearing. This should be the 1.5 light/medium. i looked up Lot number and it stated this product is over three years old. Not sure the shelf life for this unused/unopened product but this isn't going on my face. So Ulta sells expired products for a discount now?
Description is incorrect
This is a filter. It provides a healthy glow. You can wear it alone or add foundation to it. You can put it on top of your cheek bones as a highlighter. It's like the products that call themselves filters and glow drops. If you don't want much pigment then get 00. Overall great but not completely as described.

When I tried getting the product out, it just kept giving me a clear greasy liquid without any color. The little bit I was able to get out immediately started to burn my face.
