Hair Type Wavy Hair
I am someone who has to try a shampoo literally three times before I call it quits or not. The reason being is that the shampoo, upon its first performance, is not representative of how it will be upon second or third performance. The first time I used this, I strongly disliked it. I thought my hair looked dry, frazzled. The second time, I noticed that it was softer and shinier. The third time, even better than the second. I was going to give up on this but I am so glad I did not. In fact, I have ordered more. I can't decide if the hair loss I experience is any less than before, though. That needs more time. However, my hair looks and feels better than any drugstore shampoo ever made it look. It's pricey though, so I'm going to work on earning rewards points for this. I love the fact that this is the first ant-breakage shampoo that doesn't have silicones. My scalp gets irritated with silicones, but my hair really needs an anti-breakage shampoo at the same time. Keep in mind though, that my results are from using both the shampoo and conditioner, not the shampoo alone.

Prior to using the matrix line my hair was falling out and now it has slowed down tremendously. I see reviews of hair falling in clumps which can be an allergic reaction or you may have an underlying scalp issue which should be addressed by a dermatologist. For those that say it smells awful i don't know what you're smelling because it smells great
Can't get passed the smell.
This is good shampoo, it did NOT harm my hair at all. The scent on my hair is nice however the scent in the shower smells like veet hair removal cream and it's really off-putting. I'm simply going to go back to the food for soft line.

I bought this 2x. The 1st x I bought it my hair fell out in clumps. I thought it was stress related, cont. to use the product then switched product. Then the 2nd x I used both the shampoo & conditioner my hair fell out again in clumps.
