It soaps up quickly, stretches so I can reach my back, and dries fast. The sewn edges won't easily come unraveled or shed, and it's frankly more exfoliating and effective at cleaning anything and everything than the cheapo packs of exfoliating cloths you'll find everywhere. The "cloth" form factor is nice because it can scrunch up and be like a sponge, very important for something you may need to pack away in luggage for an extended period, shortly after showering.
