Size:
Prior to application, align nails with tab sides facing your cuticles and find correct size for each nail (jot down the # found on the tab on each nail - 1 is largest, 11 is smallest - for future use.) When you are in between sizes go smaller, not larger.
Prep:
Wash hands with soap and water and dry thoroughly. Use included cuticle stick to push back any excess skin. Wipe nails with the enclosed prep pad (the most important step), to clean nails for better adhesion. (You can use rubbing alcohol in place of or in addition to prep pad.)
Apply:
Peel backing from nail then press it down on your natural nail, in the center and at both sides at the same time. Hold for 30 seconds. (Press on thumbnails last.)
If there is exposed adhesive, brush clear nail polish between your nail and the imPRESS and press down.
Wait at least an hour to wet hands or file nails if desired.
Precautions: Keep out of reach of children. Contains flammable Prep Pad. Wear beyond 7 days is not recommended.

The medium length nails are the perfect length. Not too short, not too long. My only complaint is that there are not enough of the medium sqoval shaped nail and there are not enough larger sizes of nails in the package. I typically never use the 7, 8, 9 and 10-size nails. Those are for people with really skinny fingernail beds. Those of us with wider nail beds need a few larger sizes to apply if one falls off. These nails last quite a long time, too. Just put them on at night after using any water. By morning, they are pretty well secured! I can wear mine for at LEAST two weeks, sometimes three, without having to change them out.
