I can't speak on performance, but I purchased this razor new, box sealed. When I opened the battery compartment, I noticed white/yellow residue build up all over the opening. It looked like shaving lotion or creme. It looked tested, used, and re-packaged as new. I was so grossed out and didn't even want to use it.

It's been one of the best ones that I've used so far hasn't gave me any problems. I've had it for a very long time. It was time for new ones. I'm going to try the new one and hopefully that goes well but other than that I've never had problems

These have gotten worse and worse over the years, and now the most recent one has made me have to look elsewhere for a new product. Pushing the button does nothing, which is always what inevitably happens, but this time it only lasted 1-2 trims before crapping out. I love these when they work, but only the first one years ago was I able to successfully replace the batteries and have it still work. Since then changing the batteries never matters, once it dies it dies for good. But I liked it enough to keep purchasing every 6 months or so. Lately it's maybe 3 months, and I was hesitant but still purchased one again. That was a mistake as it only worked for about a week. The second full trim I was not able to complete and it won't turn on no matter what I do now. Definitely not worth the money anymore if it's not going to last more even a month.

The first one of these I bought lasted for over a year. I changed the batteries as needed. The next TWO lasted for no more than 4 months each, and changing the batteries didn't produce any results. I like what it does, but if it isn't going to last, I'll find something that does.
