ICruelty Free? Peta? Leaping Bunny? 3 rd party tested? Sold in china ? ( where they test on animals)
- Asked by Deb
- Official Answer By Pureology - BEHi there, no, Pureology a brand of L'Oréal does not test any of its products on animals, nor carry out any animal testing in our labs in China. Over the past few years, China has removed the requirement to do any animal testing for the great majority of cosmetics sold in the country. Pureology pioneered products with zero sulfates and vegan ingredients. Our goal was to create the best professional products for color-treated hair without sacrificing purity for performance. Hi! Is the hydrate sheer shampoo & conditioner safe to use on hair that's not color treated? I had a sample and I love the way it makes my hair look & feel. However, my hair is not dyed. Also is it a purple shampoo for blonde hair? Or is the color of the shampoo just purple & doesn't impact your hair? Asking because I have dark brown hair & don't want it to affect my hair color.

Had an unexpected minty tingle to it, nice and refreshing!
The conditioner was light enough to not weigh my hair down. Even though it was light on the hair it still made it smooth and easy to comb through. I was not expecting it to be on a minty side and have a bit of a tingle to the scalp. I rather enjoy that type of conditioner, I just would of liked to ...

Please bring back Hydrate Light
I have used Hydrate Light for years and it is the perfect conditioner for those of us that find Hydrate too heavy. This conditioner left my hair stiff, unmanageable and unbelievably left a slight gummy residue. I have tried it a few times to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong like using too ...

Awful! I'm returning it!
The menthol in the conditioner was so strong the fumes burned my eyes. I had to keep sticking my head out of the shower to stop the burning. It was also extremely hard to comb my hair after. I also bought the shampoo and that was pretty good.
Trustworthy
Hair Type Very Curly Hair
I can always trust this conditioner to work for my hair. It adds moisture without weighing down my curls.
Smelly
This conditioner smells awful, like strong mint abd the fumes of it nake my eyes and scalp burn.
WARNING! Causes shedding and possible rash
Upon purchasing, I was really enjoying this Philosophy shampoo and conditioner. It wasn't wearing my hair down, made it feel smooth, and smelled great. Initially I was only using the pair every other wash as it was pricey, but as I fell in love with it I began to use them every wash and purchased the jumbo sizes. Meanwhile, I was noticing I was getting a bit of a flaky scalp and I was beginning to lose hair about 2 months in. I assumed it was due to my vitamin levels or stress. This is very unusual for me, and after weeks of losing my hair, lots of thinning, I got very worried because I also developed a rash behind my ear that would not go away, even with thick ezcema creams. I eventually stopped using the duo, switched to another drugstore duo, and now 2 months later things have finally gotten better. Around this time, my sister complained of the same two issues: shedding and a rash behind her ear. Turns out she also was using the same shampoos!
