walked in wanting 1, ended up buying all 4

i saw ads online for these and was interested as i adore gourmands, but berries and banana are notes that do not appeal to me, so i seriously thought i would only like/want to own Extra Whip. MAYBE Hot Cakes if the berry note was really subtle. i ended up going into ulta so i could smell Extra Whip ...before buying it, and used the testers for all 4 just so i could know-- and omg. they are All amazing. the banana note in Hazel Split isn't overpowering at all, it's just a delicous nutty chocolate scent. Berry Styles (awful, AWFUL name) doesn't smell like what i expected, in a good way-- it's not too sharp, or too cloying, or too artificial. it's a complex, sweet, realistic scent of cooked berries. hot cakes is this heady maple-y scent that makes you go "oh my God," and extra whip is light and cool while also being sweet and sexy (definitely my favorite of the four.) sweet musk is used masterfully across this collection to make them all so enticing and alluring and relaxing. they're playful and sugary without smelling childish or shallow. i ended up buying the bundle, which i didn't expect to want at all. i Seriously recommend this set for any fans of sweet foodie smells. i am autistic and sensitive to/particular about smells, i am hesitant on what fragrance brands i try because mainstream brands, cheap Or expensive, usually smell super low-quality and just overwhelmingly like Chemicals to me. so i am always so glad when i find brands that use proper, high-quality scent accords that just smell as described, and am happy to report all snif scents i've tested smell Exactly like their notes and super, super good. really recommend this brand.
