Durable and Effective

I am an African-American with thick natural hair, and I use the DryBar Hold Me Clips every time I deep condition and style my hair. Not to suggest that the lower cost alternatives are not any good (they may be a better value for some depending on the frequency of use), but I find the DryBar clips t...

Cheaper alternatives are available

You have to be careful when using the clips or else you're at risk of pulling out hair when you take them out. I lost more than a few hairs the first time I used these. I have cheap clips purchased from Ulta that don't carry this risk. My hair is fine and plentiful. I would not repurchase these.

Not Worth it

These clips are poorly made and do not last long. I reached out to the company after a clip broke after maybe 10 uses and was told that they do not stand behind these less expensive products only appliances. THAT does not garner customer loyalty and I am not interested in buying the higher-end products. Disappointing!

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

They Were Great Until They Weren't

I loved these when they were functional, great for sectioning my fine straight hair, and the color is cute. I had them less than 6 months and they all broke around the same time. The plastic around the hinge is very weak, and I don't think the quality justifies the price.

Are they over priced? Yes. Do I love them anyway? Also yes. Super comfortable and they do. Or get caught in my curly hair.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

A bit pricey but does not tangle the hair. Strong and durable.
