Swivel up only 1/8-inch (pencil does not retract). Apply along lashlines as desired. Replace cap tightly.
For a thinner, more precise application, apply using small, short strokes.
For a smoky look, draw a thicker line, extending just beyond the outer corner of eyes. Smudge with eyeliner brush or cotton swab.

The best eyepencil
I use this on the inside of my lower lid. It does not run like their solid black color does. This color enhances green and brown eyes. It is not a loud color. Can be worn to work and out to dinner.

I was super excited for this liner, especially because I have sensitive skin and Clinique is known for being good about that kind of stuff, but this was terrible for me! I have been purchasing the Clinique kohl eyeliner for many years. I find it smudges much less than other brands Since I live in Florida , it would be impossible to avoid smudging entirely but this eyeliner goes on me every single day! I just love it.

I've had to throw away two seperate sets of contacts after using this eyeliner, and nothing else has changed in my makeup routine! And to top it off it doesn't even last on my waterline throughout the day either! I won't be getting this again, I was very dissapointed for such a high quality brand to have such terrible results.
Best overall liner!
This is the BEST overall multi-tasking eye liner product ever. I kept going back to this one for nearly 15 years. Great for sensitive eyes, very long lasting, easy to apply, very easy to smudge out if that's what you want, and it provides instant eye-popping impact. The only critique I have is, there's only one color available. I'd love to see this in a dark grey and dark brown also. Clinique…DO NOT EVER DISCONTINUE THIS ONE, PLEASE!
