I have very fine, noticeably thinning hair. I use minoxidil and just started using Nioxin Night Density Rescue as well. Can I add Diamax Advanced and 3D Thickening Gel to my regimen? And if yes, in what order would I use these products? Thank you!

- Verified Reply - Staff ExpertNioxin 3D Styling Thickening Gel can be used in conjunction with Diamax. Apply Diamax to the root and comb through with a wide tooth comb. Then apply Nioxin 3D Styling Thickening Gel and comb through. Both products are meant to improve density. If this is too much for your hair, choose only one product. Minoxidil should not be used in conjunction with Night Density Rescue. This is too harsh for your scalp. Choose one or the other. If you are using Minoxidil, the Optimizing Shampoo and Conditioner should be used with it. We hope this helps!Was this answer helpful to you

Awful Terrible Avoid
It doesn't hold my super fine ,thin straight hair. On the second day, it made my hair lank and flat. I usually wash my hair every three days, but with this product, I had to wash it every day. This new formula was a mistake. I returned it. Ulta was super nice and easy about the return.

Great for thin, fine hair
I'm starting to thin in the bang area and crown. I let my hair dry on it's own. I was thrilled after the first use. It's a strong hold but not greasy looking. I can brush through it and it still holds!
