Step 1. Hair should be dry and it's best if hair is unwashed.
Step 2. Section your hair and apply the lightening mixture with a gloved hand or brush. (TIPS: saturate the hair and cover it when you finish, to keep the Lightener from drying out. When it dries, it stops working. Protect your skin from irritation by applying shea butter, coconut oil or thick hair conditioner to your hairline and over the ears.)
Step 3. Let your hair process for no more than 50 minutes, until you achieve the desired tone. Check consistently (every 5-10 minutes) to evaluate the color lift.
Step 4. After you achieve the desired result, rinse and shampoo your hair thoroughly with warm water until you are sure all of the product is removed. Do NOT condition the hair, as your Semi-Permanent Dye will act like your conditioner when you apply.
Step 5. Wait at least 24 hours before any further lightening.
Step 6. Before coloring with GDY Semi-Permanent Dye, make sure hair is totally dry. When it is, you're ready for color!
Step 1: To create the best canvas for your color, we recommend lightening your hair using our GDY Lightening Kit. Semi-permanent dye shows up best on level 10 light blonde hair.
Step 2: Squeeze your color into the GDY Biodegradable Tool Kit. Wear gloves to prevent staining hands!
Step 3: Do a strand test before applying the color all over to ensure you love the look!
Step 4: Divide your hair into 4 equal sections and apply dye directly onto dry hair. Make sure the color is fully saturated!
Step 5: Let the color sit for at least 30 minutes.
Step 6: Rinse with cool water, no shampoo or conditioner required! Style as desired, u hottie ;)

Worst dye we've ever used
The bleach in this kit was nice, but this is the worst dye I've ever used. it came out patchy, took way more dye than it should've taken, and after days, it's still bleeding like crazy. It's staining everything it touches even though the hair is dry. Her entire face is tinted blue, her lips are tinted blue, her hands are tinted blue, her body is tinted blue, her tongue is tinted blue. The hair has chunks of green in it. How is it dying her entire body blue and her hair isn't staying blue?
Vivid color and gentle on my curly hair!
I have 2C level 4 curly hair and I've been wanting to do something different but curly hair specialists can be so expensive and not even have consistent results. I was a little afraid because I've never bleached my hair at home before but all the instructions were straight forward and I was able to lift the color to a level 7-8 in 30ish minutes. PPL EATER looks so pretty too and was very conditioning on my hair and my texture stayed the same. I am so happy my first experience turned out so well so if you've been reading the reviews and are still skeptical, pls take this as your sign to buy it!!

This product was ok, did not last long and was hard to apply. I would have liked to try more colors, but the pink was cute for a while. It smelled ok, nothing crazy.

Dude I have dyed my hair so many times and have had it professionally done for the last little bit. but pro dyeing is expensive lol but I learned alot by asking the stylists questions, and mimicked their techniques when doing it myself today. I also left the dye on for around an hour. but this is super vibrant, less stinky than a lot of others, and I got mine 1/2 off in store which is a total steal for these!!!!

I love how well this color turned out on my graying hair. It was super easy to use. The directions were very clear. I don't normally dye my own hair, but this box gave me the confidence I need to try it again.
