I have been searching for something like this because I hate putting elastics in my daughter's hair. Obviously they are meant for the end but with her fine hair I also tried them at the top to reduce the bulk that other pony tail leave. They held great at the bottom, a lot of slippage at the top. I did notice that a few got a bit stretched out but not a big deal with a pack of 25!
