Extreme Breakout

I purchased this to replace the discontinued Apothecary Wild Rose moisturizer that I always used for the daytime. Swapping one moisturizer for the other was the only change to my skincare routine at the time. Within a few days, I had the worst breakout of my life! I have suffered from moderate acne since puberty and continuing into adulthood, but never had my skin looked as angry and never was it as covered in blemishes as it was when I began using this moisturizer. I wondered if my skin was "purging," so continued using more than half the pot. It may seems silly to use a probiotic when I already suffer from acne, but I read a lot about other sufferers of acne incorporating probiotics into their skincare routine with excellent results. I have since stopped using this moisturizer in favor of using the Apothecary Wild Rose Night-Brightening Sleeping Facial as my daytime moisturizer in addition to using it for the nighttime. It has been about two weeks since I stopped using the probiotic gel-cream, and my skin is SLOWLY recovering. I have fading dark spots all around my mouth, across my chin, and on my cheeks from the clusters of blemishes that flourished on my face while I used this moisturizer. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Korres and will continue to be loyal customer, but I'm baffled by what happened with my skin. I guess I'll stick to the yoghurt products like the foaming cleanser and body wash (I love the smells of both) and my fave Apothecary Wild Rose products.

I received this for free to review. I personally did not like it much because it broke me out. I have sensitive and combination skin. Used it after cleansing my face and woke up with pimples and white heads.

nice lightweight moisturizer, perfect for summer

i received this complimentary from influenster. overall, this is a great lightweight moisturizer. i have dry skin so it won't be my go-to in the winter but it's perfect for the summer in combo with my argan oil. i like that it has probiotics to help level out the skin and that it's time released - i surprisingly felt hydrated all day. i took off a star bc it does have a kinda old lady smell (it doesn't last long though) and i would prefer that it was vegan.

This product leaves my face feeling very soft and refreshed. My skin is refreshed and not oily at all. During the winter, my skin is usually very dry and rough, and I fed this product has helped tremendously. I received this product for free from Influenster for my honest opinion. #BeMineVoxBox
