Apply a small amount to face in the PM as part of your skincare regimen, after water serums but before heavier treatments. Do not use with other retinoid treatments. Avoid unprotected solar exposure. Store in a cool, dry place.

Pleasant, feels good, doesn't irritate
I've been using this product every night after applying witch hazel. It doesn't irritate my skin and it seems to moisturize a little. I don't know if it has any anti-aging effect, but it feels good and doesn't make me break out.

I have only used product for a couple of weeks. I do notice my skin feels softer and looks brighter.
Perfect for gentle exfoliation
I'm seeing results after the first few application. My skin is smoother, and my spot breakouts are clearing up (!). Note that it's in squalene, which makes it slightly oily. This is perfect for me because, although I have combo skin, and my skin appreciates the extra moisture. Even at the higher price end for The Ordinary, I only need 8 drops or so to cover my face and neck. I think the squalene provides greater stability. Still, I keep it in a makeup fridge and use it up before the 3 month expiration. (Retinoids loss efficacy after a short time; it's not a ploy to sell more product. Someday I might try a prescription strength retinoid. For now, this is a great otc retinoid. Gentle enough to use after other gentle exfoliators (on my face).

I started using this product 6 months ago as I had really bad hyperpigmentation/melasma everywhere (especially as a stache which is great for one's confidence). I've used this at night post cleansing with olay moisturiser and in the AM the ordinary Vit C suspension 23%, also with olay and I finally feel confident again to not wear makeup every time I leave the house! Both photos attatched are without make up :)
