Apply a generous amount on clean dry skin. Gently massage in a circular motion to roll, lift and sweep away dead skin cells. Rinse well with water. For extra enzymatic exfoliation, leave on skin for 1 to 5 minutes then rinse. Use 1 to 3 times a week depending on skin sensitivity.

I was looking for a DERMA E gentle but effective facial scrub. I decided to try this one and I'm really glad I did. The formula is a gel like paste that you apply to clean, dry skin. You spread it all over your face and avoid your eyes. You massage the face in circular movements with your fingertips and as the product moves across your face and dries, it glops up and falls off. (I lean over the sink.) The magic is in what your skin feels like once you rinse the product off. The enzymes and herbs do wonders creating soft, smooth skin.

Crusty woman, here. I have VERY dry skin which remains even after using exfoliating buff pads and loads of moisturizer. I was hesitant to buy this because it said "gentle" which I assumed meant weak and ineffective. I was completely wrong! The dead skin rolled off of my face along with the product. Before I got out of the shower, my face didn't have the usual bumpy, dry texture it usually has after rinsing. Even before applying moisturizer, my skin almost had a diffused shine to it but not due to anything sitting on top of it. My skin finally feels "normal" and healthy. My mind is blown. One use, and I'm hooked. The product comes out as a clumpy gel, but don't worry - it works!
