Didn't see the results I hope for

The directions on the box are pretty bare, so I used my experience with similar products and followed a routine that should've given this treatment every chance to work. I washed my hands before each application, used it twice a day for six days, let it dry fully before touching anything, and avoide...d cuticle oil until I removed it. To really test it, I applied the serum only to the left half of each nail. The formula is thin and watery, but it sits on the nail for about 5 seconds before soaking in. Early on, it was easy to tell which side I was applying the treatment to since that side looked slightly more matte, but that difference faded as the days went on. After 6 days of using this nail repair serum, I didn't see any obvious improvement. If there was a change, it was so subtle I could barely tell. Across all my nails, the treated half looked the same as the untreated side. The only noticeable difference was that the skin around the treated side looked worse by the end, although I'm not sure if that was from the product or from skipping cuticle oil. My nails aren't severely damaged to begin with, so maybe this serum only shows dramatic results on nails that are in much rougher shape. If that's the case, I wish the brand included before‑and‑after photos so customers know what to expect. The packaging is still a mixed bag for me. The bottle is tall and skinny, which made me nervous at first, but the heavy glass gives it some stability. It's bottom‑heavy enough not to tip easily when you set it down, but if you bump the top, it'll fall about half the time. The brush is thin but fans out nicely, which makes it easy to cover the nail quickly. Overall, the experience was fine, but the results just weren't there.
