Do you turn it up from the bottom OR gel comes thru the fine point until empty? It sounds like a dumb question but I just received my order & there's no tip???

- Verified Reply - LivHi! Sorry to hear the tip may have broken off during shipment! Our gel eyeliners are made to be used with a sharpener! Simply insert the liner into the appropiate sized sharpener hole and twist until the desired amount of product appears. For some reason people dont understand that you can sharpen this pencil with a sharpener. It doesnt twist up...just use the ulta sharpener! I love these pencils I have them in several colors. Worst eyeliner ever. Doesn't sharpen. No product.
Who makes an eyeliner like this that you can't sharpen?? I can't believe how stupid this product is. I'm so disappointed in Ulta for even selling this. All you get is the tiny amount of product you see and there's no way to sharpen it so it just becomes a nub you have to throw out after like 4 uses....

I wish it was a deeper brown
When I put this on, it seemed more red that brown. I already have a reddish water line, so anything that has red in it makes it worse. It is very soft and creamy, though.

Like the color; most are charcoal not grey. Goes on pretty easily and can use it on eyebrows too.

Had major reaction
Not usually one to have a bad reaction to makeup, but not sure what changed in their formula or what. I have the older versions of Ulta eye liner and have no issues, but this variation? Major red-eye reactions. I had to throw the product out!
