Work a quarter-sized amount of shampoo into a rich lather between palms. Apply to wet hair and massage into scalp, starting at the nape of your neck and working the lather through the ends. Rinse thoroughly.
TIPS: After washing and conditioning, dry hair in sections, lightly squeezing and gently patting out moisture. Rough drying hair with a towel can pull or break fragile new hairs. If you have it, a soft microfiber towel is even better.

That said, this is a volumizing formula designed for fine/thinning hair types to deep cleanse for extra volume and reduce inflammation while promoting healthier regrowth. You will want to use Flourish conditioner for detangling and hydration. I bought this shampoo because I use Ketoconazole 2%, and although it cleans my scalp well, it doesn't clean my lengths and ends, makes my hair super tangly, and is more of a scalp treatment. Stripped my hair color and keratin treatment

One use of this shampoo stripped my daughter's and my hair color and lifted my keratin straightening (and is drying as all get out). Turned into an expensive bottle of shampoo because now we both have to go back to the salon to have our hair fixed.

Liking this except the fragrance

I recently have had serious hair thinning from taking a medication. Thankfully, I have been able to switch to a different medication that is not supposed to cause hair thinning. In the meantime, I wanted to try this product to regrow my hair, as I read that studies have shown it worked as well as minoxidil in trials, I believe. My only complaint is the overpowering and unpleasant perfume fragrance. Please, Virtue, can you consider changing the fragrance to something less strong and also pleasing? In the era of wonderful, pleasing botanical fragrances, such as what is found in True Botanicals products, this product's smell seems very old school. Since I use it at night, I think even my dogs are bothered by the smell!
