Frizz-less Light Bouncy Natural Curls

My Hair Type: I have very wavy hair that I am trying to train as curls. I also have blonde highlighted hair so its heavy chemically processed hair that dries out and frizzes easily. The Product: the bottle is compact and fits easily into your hand. I do like that it has a secure top, sometimes hair...

beware, coconut haters

I just got this in the mail and was SO excited to try this Fantasy Curls line, but I'm not sure I even can. As soon as I opened it to sniff it, I immediately considered bringing it back. The coconut stench is overpowering - this stuff smells like straight up, overpowering, cloying, ridiculously fake coconut. I know not everyone will be pleased with whatever particular scent a brand chooses, but WHY does every brand seem to choose this wretched coconut?! Sorry. I just detest coconut, clearly. I might try this immediately before I shower to see how bad it is once it's in the hair. I'll update if it's tolerable!

Strands are still dry and dull, some smoothing effect but not worth the sale price. It doesnt hold a curl pattern, but at the same time doesnt mess it up. Lets talk about the smell….. im getting a migraine as i write this. Its sooooo strong and perfumey. You know your crazy aunt that wears way too much perfume?? Its that, i used 1/2 a pump and its literally all i can smell. And its horrible, like a fake beachy vanilla scent. If you can handle your Aunt Jan in a hot sedan with the windows shut you could probably handle this. I can't so i return.

I use 2-3 pumps after my hair is almost dry and it gives some life to the top of my hair that usually is a little unruly. To achieve a 'wet' look I think you'd need to use a lottt of this product though.
