Light enough for day and takes you into the night!

I was excited when I received the sample to trial as I do love to have a range of perfumes from which to choose so that I can change up or down with my mood at the time or the occasion. Paco Rabanne Fame certainly did not disappoint. The fragrance is light enough to wear to work without overpowering... those around you but has a depth that makes it last all day without having to reapply constantly like other "light" type perfumes. The fruity and floral top notes give the perfume an uplifting start when you apply it and for about a half hour after application. You then move to the more complex middle notes where the beautiful body of this perfume reveals itself with woody florals and spices reminiscent of exotic places. PR Fame then fades gracefully around the 6-8hr mark into the gentle embrace of vanilla and woody base notes to comfort the senses. I felt I was wearing an expertly crafted perfume and not some cheap "knocked together in a hurry" disaster. I wore it to work and to social outings and received many compliments and questions about what I was wearing. Carrying the sample with me I was able to share with the other ladies at work who loved it. We have a range of ages, skin types and perfume/skin sensitive people, myself included, and this did not cause anyone any skin or headache reactions. I felt sophisticated yet approachable and warm when wearing it. My husband is notoriously picky about what perfumes he likes on me and even he loved it when I wore it as he said I smelled like all the good things a perfume should contain. If you are looking for something fresh and new with a stylish feel that you can wear on any occasion then seriously look at trying Paco Rabanne Fame.
