Hi, I have straight dark hair that's medium to thick and not much volume to it. It is dyed occasionally and has become more dry which the dryness leads to some frizz. Does one work without the other? I usually only do shampoo and then a hair mask but i was wondering if I can use the Redken All soft curls shampoo (which is my usual go-to) and then this conditioner and still acheive results?

I have thick hair and it gets frizzy, tangled, dry, not soft at all , I don't have that much breakage but still some, I would like some more volume but my hair naturally has volume, I have also never dyed my hair. I would really like to know which Redken shampoo and conditioner I should get because I'm debating between this one, the dismiss frizz, the extreme length, and the all soft. Thank you!

My hair has gotten much shorter! due to breakage from wearing protective styles and clip in extensions! This is the shortest my hair has ever been and I'm so desperately to get my hair back long like it used to be! So sad. I love Redken Anti-snap, and I've used several of their products before. I bought this on sale, because of how much I love the other products from the Extreme line. I started using it and all was well.. it smells amazing, left my hair very manageable, shiny... aaaand then my scalp got itchy....

A Game Changer for My Damaged Hair

As a 40-year-old with naturally straight hair, I was struggling to find suitable hair care products after my go-to shampoo and conditioner (Biolage Clean Reset and Biolage Full Density) were discontinued. With some gray hair appearing, I made the unfortunate decision to dye my hair, causing further damage. I tried numerous popular brands, but my hair became increasingly dry, tangled, and full of static. Finally, I discovered Redken Extreme shampoo and conditioner, and after just one use, my hair felt cleaner, softer, and healthier. My hair still needs more care to return to its original condition, but the immediate results are impressive. Although I experienced some initial itchiness on my scalp, it subsided the next day. The fragrance is pleasant but may be strong for some users, though it becomes milder after a day. Despite having thyroid-related hair loss, this shampoo did not exacerbate shedding. Overall, I highly recommend Redken Extreme shampoo and conditioner, and I'm grateful to have found a product that works for my hair needs. (4.5/5 stars) **Note**: I typically air dry my hair using medium heat or cool settings on a hairdryer without brushing, and the results remain excellent.

This is one of my 2 favorite conditioners for my hair. I use this as my daily, it's lightweight and doesn't make my hair feel heavy. It smells amazing. When I need a little deeper conditioning I use Sebastian Penetraitt. If you have some wave to your hair and you diffuse dry to keep your waves, try this Redken conditioner.

After trying other products in this brand that I liked I decided to try out the shampoo & conditioner and I love it! Definitely great for hair repair for dry and damaged hair. I would recommend it to others! I also like that they have two different sizes with the smaller one being more affordable.
