This ✂ is great for a nonprofessional or a apprentice... It's not super smooth, so you can practice being firm, and steady! But in general, for a professional that sometimes works at home, it's not perfect ✂ for me! Its needs to be sharpened .... and more smooth on the hands... it's super hard to open and close, and after 5 haircuts you end up with your hands hurting...

I have used this to trim my children's hair and it works really well. Nice sharp, and comfortable in the hand. The length of the scissors is perfect for what my needs are doing trims and adding some layer to my sons hair. Definitely give these ones a try.

I have had a couple of shears used for at home purposes and this by far has been one of the best. Nice heavy duty feel but still light enough to not be considered bulky. Sharp and nice clean cut. It's perfection and I would definitely recommend for both natural hair and extensions. I do wish it came with a small sleeve or case.
