This blemish-fighting primer for acne-prone skin is designed to be worn under your foundation. Use the tips of your fingers to gently spread the desired amount all over the face before foundation and makeup application.

Great cover up
This blemish primer is very good on hiding acne and some age marks. You only need a very small amount to cover the area. When you apply the make up it stays in place all day. The primer is not greasy at all and covers very well.

So the blemish control primer by Milani is ok, but I am not sure about the feeling of it on my face. It's not as lightweight as I thought it would be, it's very thick. This product made my face red and gave me one of the worst breakouts I've had in a long time. My face turned red and it took a few days to go away. It was terrible. Plus, I did not notice much of an improvement or difference when I used this product. Not worth the misery !

This has got to be one of the worst products I have ever tried. I got it on sale and because it had good (but also bad) reviews overall. I tried it on my hand and loved the magnifying quality and that it died quickly; I thought I'd really like it on my face. When I put it on my face this morning, it seemed to apply nicely enough and felt dry. But when I put foundation over it, it just pulled right off my face with the foundation stuck to it, leaving a clumpy gross mess on my hands. I had to wipe everything off and start over with my normal products. The reviews I read about it doing this were right. I'm planning on returning it.
Don't buy
I love milani so much but this is so bad. It has a very strong smell which personally i dont mind but other people might not like that. Honestly the biggest problem is it doesnt work. It flakes off as soon as you put it on your face. I've moisturized, not moisturized, exfoliated, used my hands to apply it, used a brush, used a sponge, etc. i tried so hard to make it work but it just doesnt. It also makes your makeup come off faster than with no primer. It made mine so patchy. I really dont think there are any pros. Its really not even that color correcting.

There is a misconception, that if you're older, I am 70 years young, that your skin is dry, and it needs moisture. I'm sure the makers of this product would never envision that it would be my holy Grail. I have been unable to find a primer to prevent oil breakthrough. I have finally found the right combination of products to control the oil all day long. I am following one of two routines. One routine is to use a. SPF with color and then pat Erase Base on top of it with a small amount of concealer. Or, I mix erase base with a drop of foundation. Thank you Milani Cosmetics for developing such an awesome, effective product that I've been searching for years to find! Blessings!
