Tip doesn't apply well
I love the color (Pearly Emerald) and it really is waterproof. But it is impossible to get a nice fine line. It's called a felt tip, but the tip bends like a flexible brush. When you touch the fine point, no color comes out. It feels dry. You have to bend the whole tip sideways and then you get a big wide line… In case I got a partially used or malfunctioning one at the store, I'l be returning this and re-purchasing online.
Worth the price and lasts until you take it off!
I've tried liquid eyeliner off-and-on over 20 years. They've improved a lot, but I never could get it right. The applicators were unwieldy, and the felt tips were too thick and stiff. If I managed to get it on, it took multiple coats to build up the color, disappeared in a few hours, had a strong smell, irritated my eyes, and/or left a sticky finish that was a magnet for eyeshadow. Dior has managed to solve all those problems! I had a health issue the second time I tried this and couldn't wash my face for over 36 hours after I applied it. When I finally looked in the mirror, my eyeliner (and the amazing Armani liquid eyeshadow!) looked like I'd just applied them! I'd been sweating from a fever, and the rest of my makeup was gone. Yet there was no smudging or bleeding into fine lines. I've worn it dozens of times since then here in hot, humid Texas and it's performed beautifully every time. The applicator is easy to hold, and the tip is perfect to get a smooth, even line. The rich color goes on smoothly and only needs 1 coat. When it's time to take it off, it comes off easily with no scrubbing. I now own it in black, brown, green, pink, and burgundy. As someone who swore for 20 years to never use liquid eyeliner again, I now wear it almost every day!
best liquid eyeliner
Eyeliner soes not smudge its the best one
Lasts and looks great
My favorite eye liner. It goes on easy and is waterproof
Great eyeliner
I noticed that some reviewers had a bad experience with this eyeliner, but thankfully I did not. I've had mine for close to 2 months, and it hasn't dried out. I got the Satin Brown shade. It stays all day, but removes easily with warm water or micellar water and a cotton pad. It doesn't bleed, smudge, or appear patchy. I love that its' ingredients are free from phenoxyethanol, a common preservative that can irritate sensitive or dry eyes. The only drawback is the expensive price, but Dior is considered a luxury brand, so I guess that's why the price point is what it is. Overall a great quality eyeliner, just not very affordable.
