Makeup has become one of my small joys during a stressful time, and Winky Lux's Detail Oriented Mascara in Chocolate turned out to be an unexpectedly uplifting addition to my routine. The micro-spoolie was the first thing that caught my attention. Most mascaras immediately clump or overpower my eyes since I have shorter, sparser lashes, especially in the inner corners. This one didn't. Without smearing or creating a mess, the incredibly thin wand captured every single lash, even the top, bottom, and outside corners. I appeared "awake and refreshed" without the severity of black thanks to the chocolate brown hue, which imparted a delicate definition that was both natural and polished. I enjoyed how it gradually and neatly added volume; I could keep adding layers without it becoming spidery. Additionally, it's ideal for days when I prefer a slight lift rather than theatrical glitz.
