Is this for sensitive skin at all? I'm very sensitive and get allergic reactions to a lot of face products. As soon as I applied it to my face I felt a stinging sensation Wich did calm down after a few seconds.

Pleasantly surprised!
I went to purchase Day Wear for combination skin for my daughter and ended up purchasing this for myself as well. I have large pores around my hose and stay oily in the usual areas. (Despite being 49 years old!) This did a nice job in controlling the shine in those areas, but not drying out my skin....

Not for my skin
I have extremely oily skin. After three hours with this product, my skin became shiny and oily once more. I really wanted to like this, but it did not work as expected for me. Not a fan
I tend to get a shiny face so wanted to love this, but it ends up breaking down and pilling off my skin in little balls. Also it just doesnt moisturize the way that I would like it to. My face was dry at the end of the day and flaking! Really disappointing.

I've used Daywear Matte for over 5 years and would recommend to others. It does a great job at decreasing oil production and shine after hours of being on my skin. I use just a thin layer on my skin and pat it in. I also wait to put on my makeup for another 30 minutes to make sure the moisturizer soaks in. I find I need to blot 1x during the day to help minimize the shine and minimize oil on my skin. This is an improvement for me...with other products I've tried (non Estee lauder), I would be blotting multiple times a day starting 2-3 hours after putting makeup on, so I will say this product is worth it. I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 because there's no SPF and the product has gone up in price close to $20 in the past 5 years.

Made my face red, itch and feel like sandpaper. Super dissapointed.
It's Okay
I have tried a lot of oil control and mattifying moisturizers for my mostly oily combo skin. This one works okay for winter, but I will not even attempt to use it in the warmer months, even on dry areas. Disappointed, considering the price tag, but I will keep it. I do enjoy the light scent, which says a lot considering how sensitive to scents I am (strong ones will trigger an immediate level 10 migraine).
Oil in control
I have tried a few different oil control creams but nothing has taken away my redness while controlling my oil. Wish they made this in a face wash.
